Our studio
Canyon Iris is a photo lab based in Ginza, Tokyo, dedicated to the digitization and restoration of old photographs. Our team combines archival scanning practice with material radiography, allowing us to examine a photograph's structure before we ever begin physical treatment.
Our approach
Every project starts with assessment, not assumption. We digitize the original first, study its material condition, and only then plan a restoration path — whether that means light retouching, full reconstruction, or simply careful long-term archiving.

We work with individuals preserving family history, as well as museums, archives, and local history societies across the Tokyo area who need reliable, documented digitization and restoration of photographic collections.
